The project consists of 3 phases for the following scope of work:
1) CF Industries Nitrogen- Donaldsonville capacity expansion project Urea synthesis and Granulation process
2) CF Industries Nitrogen- Donaldsonville capacity expansion project Nitric Acid and UAN scope.
3) CF Industries Nitrogen- Donaldsonville capacity expansion project PRP3 Offsite and utilities scope.
Expenditures for the projects have begun and will continue into 2016. The Donaldsonville project budget is $2.1 billion, with the new urea and UAN plants scheduled to come on stream in the second half of 2015 and the new ammonia plant in 2016
